WEBINAR: Israel’s Impending “Annexation” of Judea and Samaria w/ Professor Eugene Kontorovich

The Israeli government has been strongly considering the implementation of legal sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria, namely in the Jordan Valley. Such a move, some are calling “annexation” is likely to garner strong reactions. The questions are, what exactly is involved with “annexing” these particular territories from an international legal standpoint, what are the changes on the ground the Israelis hope to gain through its implementation, and what are the likely geopolitical ramifications if and when Israel proceeds as planned? Also, how can “annexation” affect the work of Jewish/Israel advocates and what should they know to be prepared if that moment comes?

Dov Hikind, founder of Americans Against Antisemitism will be discussing this very important issue with Eugene Kontorovitch, professor of law at George Mason University and director of international law at the Kohelet Policy Forum in Jerusalem. Eugene is one of the world’s foremost experts on universal jurisdiction, maritime piracy, as well as international law and the Arab-Israel conflict.

The issue is complex, but Eugene has the expertise and knowledge to break it down and help people make sense of it so they can be prepared to counter the disinformation and lies that have abounded about it.
